Story of a Decade of Research and Development

The company’s journey began in 2016, when Rozalin Aliramaei, an electronics and telecommunication engineer, secured a Norwegian government grant and started collaborating with local farms to explore the effects of electromagnetic technology on plant growth. What began as curiosity quickly evolved into a mission to combine engineering and biology to help plants thrive. In 2017, Elenovations won the Angel Challenge Stavanger investment competition, securing early investor funding to continue the research and development journey. Until 2020, Rozalin led every aspect of the project herself, from product design and 3D modeling to practical hands-on work and in-house laboratory testing, while also dedicating years to self-study in plant biology and continuous experimentation. In 2019, after years of research and testing, Rozalin cracked the code that became the foundation of the company’s technology. In 2021, the method was officially patented. In 2020, Stefan Strub, a physicist, joined the company to enhance simulations and support the optimization of the technology. In 2023, as the company entered a new phase of growth with larger investors and international expansion, Alexander Lee Slang joined the team to support scaling operations and commercialization. Since then, the team has continued expanding through collaborations with experts in AI, electronics design, product and software development to further complete and scale the product. The company has collaborated with Leiden University and is currently collaborating with Wageningen University, while also working closely with farms in the Netherlands. In 2025, the company was recognized globally as one of the Top 100 Innovators in the prestigious SVG Ventures THRIVE Global Impact Challenge. Today, the company delivers advanced electromagnetic solutions designed to optimize plant growth, improve crop quality, enhance aroma and nutrient profiles, and support more sustainable agricultural production.
